My favorite thing about them is that there are redline railguns installations with a clear line of sight to other installations. 400 WP off the bat for blowing up things with zero investment of skill or ISK? Why, thank you map design.

I have, at times, been able to use a SMG in order to keep enemies at bay. Fire a few rounds when they poke their head out, they hide again. This is mostly what I use my Breach SMG for, in addition to killing equipment.

I think that 30% is too large a reduction. 5% to 10% would be an ideal staring point for sustained fire weapons. Alpha Damage weapons (snipper riffles, shotguns, etc.) seem fine as is. This is coming from a Scout who uses only Submachine Guns.
